Improvements
⚡Smoother Article Viewing For Guests
Guests can now view articles faster.
Previously, when the Home, Search, Map, or AI Chatbot (paid plans) pointed to an article, the guidebook would reload and reopen on that page. While effective, it slowed things down.
⚡ Now: Articles open instantly in a popup window—keeping guests in the flow without refreshing the entire guidebook. This update means:
✅ Faster, more fluid browsing
✅ Less waiting, no reloads
✅ A clean, app-like experience for guests
🎉 A small tweak with a big impact—helping your guidebooks feel even more seamless.
Other Bug Fixes & Improvements:
Fixed an issue when filtering content by unit in your dashboard
Fixed an issue when importing a Google Place whereas some details were not being pulled up correctly
Improved AI Playground training in queue notices
Other small UX improvements

You can now use the AI Chatbot to:

Improvements
✨ More Dynamic Fields for Your Guidebooks
We’ve added three new fields to the Data Dictionary under Units, giving you more flexibility and automation across your guidebooks. You can now dynamically insert:
🕒
{{UNIT:CHECK_IN_TIME}}🕚
{{UNIT:CHECK_OUT_TIME}}📋
{{UNIT:HOUSE_RULES}}
You’ll find these fields available when editing content areas like Guest Info → House Rules. Just plug them into your templates and SmoothStay will automatically pull the correct info from each unit — no need to rewrite or copy-paste across properties.
As always, these updates are here to help you run smoother, more scalable operations.

New features
🚀 Import Places from Google
We’re excited to announce a new way to make your articles even more informative and visually appealing! You can now import a place directly from Google Places into any article in SmoothStay.
✨ How it works:
In your article editor, click on “Import a place from Google”.
Search for the place you want to add (like a restaurant, museum, or landmark).
With a single click, import the place’s details into your article — including: ✅ Title ✅ Description ✅ Full address ✅ Business hours and phone number ✅ Geolocation ✅ Google star rating ✅ Website URL
This feature automatically fills in these details and updates any existing fields with the latest Google information, so you don’t have to do it manually!
⏳ Why it saves time:
No need to copy-paste data from Google — just search and import.
Keep your content up-to-date and professional-looking.
Focus on crafting the perfect guest experience instead of chasing down business hours and descriptions!
We hope this new tool helps you create richer, more accurate content for your guests — all in just a few clicks!
